Belt and bucket elevators are used to convey any type of material vertically in buckets which are attached to a belt and driven by a motorised top drum and free running bottom drum. The belt is contained within an upleg and downleg with the product discharged at the top of the upleg and is empty on the downleg before beginning the process again.

Our belt and bucket elevators are a simple and efficient way of elevating free flowing material including grains, feeds and food, oilseeds, biomass, waste and minerals.

Chain conveyors use a powered continuous chain driven by a motor carrying a series of suspended pendants to transport various bulk material during production.

Our chain conveyors can be used for general transportation and distribution of bulk materials as well as bulk intake and hopper discharge. Our standard chain conveyors are able to transport most free flowing powders, grains, pellets and flakes but can easily be tailored to suit;

• Brittle / Fragile material

• Live Bins - Used to ensure bulk materials are conditioned as required prior to processing. This is usually done by agitating the product and our standard specification can be tailored to suit materials that our abrasive; damp, wet or sticky; handled in aggressive environments and/or extreme temperatures.
• Weigh Hoppers - Hoppers used to connect the machine to the storage bins. These can be used to weigh the materials ensuring the correct amount of each material and minerals are discharged into a mixer. Our standard specification can be tailored to suit materials that our abrasive; damp, wet or sticky; handled in aggressive environments and/or extreme temperatures.
• Bins - Our bins and hoppers are purpose built to suit our range of bulk handling machinery including belt & bucket elevators, screw conveyors and chain and flight conveyors. Our designs are easily adaptable to suit machinery you may have already in place or to modify existing storage.
• Silos - We can offer installation of a varying type of storage solution for grain and other bulk materials ranging from 2 to 25 metre diameter and from 4 to 10,000 tonne capacity. All of our silos can be bespoke in design to suit customers requirements and we are able to hopper bottom, flat bottom and smooth wall silos. All silos are installed pre or hot dipped galvanised.

We are able to offer supply and/or install of a wide range of spares for our machinery as well as other accessories that may be of interest;

Motors - We are able to supply a variety of motors and gearboxes to suit our elevators and conveyors. Our preferred manufacturers are Weg motors and Siemans gearboxes are these are used in our machines all though others are available upon request.

Bearings - Our machines use flanged bearings with sizes and specifications to suit up to 90mm diameter. Other taper, roller and spherical bearings are available upon request.

Our supply of roll shells are produced from quality high grade steel to enable the best possible long term performance for wear and hardness. Our dimpled shells are heat treated to a to a depth of 10mm.

Screw conveyors and dischargers use a rotating screw blade or ‘flight’ within a tube to move granular materials. Screw conveyors are usually installed horizontally or on a slight incline to move materials such as cereal grains or animal feed button be adapted to transport any semi-solid material.
